OceanPay Mastercard Terms of Use
1. General Terms
This OceanPay Mastercard Terms of Use (this “Agreement”, along with, the General Terms, and our fees policy, privacy policy and any other applicable terms and conditions as shown on our docs) are important as they collectively form a legally binding agreement between you, the holder of OceanPay Crypto Mastercard (the “Client”), and us, (“OceanPay” or “We”), for the use of OceanPay Crypto Mastercard, It also sets out other important things that you need to know. The Client acknowledges and agrees that by checking the “OceanPay Crypto Mastercard” box during the application procedure, it is indicating its intent to sign these terms and conditions and that it shall constitute its execution of the agreement between the Client and OceanPay.
2. Purpose
OceanPay Crypto Mastercard is a prepaid card that supports users to directly top-up USD amount using USDT, USDC, OPay It can be used for online platforms globally that support Mastercard payment (such as Amazon, Ebay, etc.), and can be linked to Apple Pay for offline payment scenarios.
3. Fees and Charges:
Mastercard enabled. KYC required depends on the card type. Application fee depends on the card type. No Monthly fee. There is a recharge fee. There is monthly limit and recharge limit case by case Minimum recharge amount of 10 USD. The OceanPay Crypto Mastercard is not a bank account and the fund top-up through crypto bears no interest.
4. Withdrawal procedure
Users have the ability to withdraw any unused balances within the Crypto Card account using USDT or merchant platform tokens. The minimum amount that can be redeemed is 10 USD. The shortest time interval allowed for redemption is 48 hours.
5. Use of OceanPay Crypto Mastercard
5.1 One user can only apply for one OceanPay Crypto Mastercard.
5.2 OceanPay setup and adjust, in its sole discretion, the maximum number of under certain Crypto Card, the Monthly Limit and Card Limit for risk control and regulatory compliance purposes from time to time. Any payment exceeding such Monthly Limit and shall be rejected.
5.3 All OceanPay Crypto Mastercard remain the property of the Service Provider and must be returned upon request. The Service Provider may cancel, revoke, repossess or restrict the use of the Crypto Card at any time. OceanPay may decline to authorize or reverse charges or suspend Crypto Card for any reason including violation of this Agreement, suspected fraud, or creditworthiness. OceanPay also may decline to authorize Transactions at merchants characterized by the Service Provider. OceanPay is not responsible for losses resulting from declined or reversed Transactions.
5.4 If Service Provider determines that the Client’s Crypto Card receives, or is likely to receive, a disproportionately high number of declined transactions, reversals, refunds, disputes, fees or other liability, the Client may be subject to certain handling fee upon notice via email. The Client agrees to terminate the use of the Services if it does not agree to such fees or charges.
5.5 The card account itself is protected by a sophisticated bank-level security system, ensuring full protection of funds. Every time a user initiates a CVV or address information request, it undergoes secure verification. Users can also easily cancel their Crypto card and return the balance to their own encrypted wallet after security verification. We do not recommend that users share their CVV code under any circumstances.
5.6 The Client shall be responsible for securing account credentials, OceanPay Crypto Card numbers and security features (including the CVV and PIN, if any). The Client shall be responsible for charges, fees and penalties resulting from any client’s failure to exercise reasonable care in safeguarding OceanPay Crypto cards from loss or theft, failure to promptly report loss or theft. If the Client uses or allows someone else to use the Crypto Card for any other purpose, the Client will be responsible for such use and may be required to reimburse OceanPay and the Service Provider for all amounts or expenses paid by such entities as a result of such use. The Client understands that it is its responsibility to monitor any suspicious or unauthorized activities on the OceanPay Crypto Mastercard. The Client understands that it is liable for the unauthorized use of the OceanPay Crypto Mastercard to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Card Cancellation Process:
When a user initiates a card cancellation request, the system checks the account balance. If the balance is 10 USD or more, the card cancellation refund process proceeds. If the balance is less than 10 USD, the user is informed that it is insufficient for a refund and asked to confirm the cancellation. If there is no balance, the user is prompted to confirm the destruction of the Crypto card. A 1 USD deduction occurs when the card is deactivated. During the refund process, the refund page replicates the redemption page, with the withdrawal amount fixed.
